Kars Public School is in its 64th year of successful operation. It was built originally as a junior and senior continuation school serving many students from the townships of Osgoode and Rideau. It has evolved into an Early French Immersion Centre offering a bilingual education in English and in French to approximately 330 students from Junior kindergarten to grade 5. It welcomes students from all of Rideau Township, except for the immediate Manotick area, and from the Village of Osgoode.
